The Digital Innovation Award for Educational Technology Applications

The UAE University received the Digital Innovation Award which was presented by Ellucian. On this occasion,

Ms. Afra Al Shamsi, the Chief Information Officer said, “The university won this award as a result of its efforts by providing many educational programs and technical applications that students need in their academic careers and university life.”

She then added, “The university’s administration has been achieving the aspirations of our wise leadership by being proactive in the field of technological applications to develop academic deliverables and programs, which keep pace with the latest teaching and learning technologies in the world. UAEU was selected from among hundreds of educational institutions that participated in the programs offered by Ellucian, which is a global company specializing in technological and digital applications in the fields of education and learning”.

Then she emphasized the role of the educational institutions during the COVID-19 pandemic, the university has developed the best digital educational applications, which contributed to the educational process functioning smoothly and maintaining the quality of the outputs, which also contributed to the students' acquisition of many skills and knowledge by visiting the sites of digital educational applications, which constituted a qualitative addition to the academic outcomes.
