In 2021, I was part of many new experiences such as; Gitex 2021 and MBR award. both experience gave me opportunities to learn new things and work with new people and enrich my knowledge.
Through Gitex participation,
it was a great experience to finally go back to normal life and engage with more people

HPC Cluster System Engineer I
In 2021, I was glad to be part of UAEU HPC expansion project which aims to accommodate the growing demands of UAEU researchers’ community to help them find their research output and results in shorter period of time. Along with that, we applied Fair Share policy to help sharing HPC resources fairly among the increasing number of users every year.

One of my flourishing achievements in 2021 is that I have been part of the team that implemented, operated, and manage the class of the future and trained the faculty members on how to utilize the facilities of the latest technologies and the robot to do their hybrid classes successfully with the excellent experiences and feedback

I am very pleased to participate on the delivery of this important project Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, MECM aims to Increase IT productivity and efficiency by reducing manual tasks on users end points and its management centrally. Empower user productivity by providing the right software at the right time. Project implementation period was about two months, ending at 02/2021 . And since that we have More than 5000 client managed by MECM .

In 2021 and together with other members from DoIT we provided advisory and consultation services to the Expo team in the field of AV & IT Support. The possibility of doing this task in light of the current pandemic and without any flaw in my duties which is centered around providing technical support (On-Site & Remotely) for the college of Science ( 1,800 students, and more than 250 employee) was definitely something special

Proud to play a key role in helping the student affairs unit in College of Medicine with moving admission interviews to online interviews using Microsoft team. 500 interviews meetings successfully conducted within 30 days. Bagged the Chancellor’s innovation award for Education – 6th Cycle in staff category. Pandemic along with it’s hardship also gave way to some innovative ideas. The OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examinations) traditionally done face to face was forced to move online. A novel online time management system to move through the rotations of this clinical exam was put forth by a team from CMHS in which I was part of.

I joined DoIT on Feb 2021, as I completed my first year, I was glad to be a part of various important tasks, starting from showcasing UAEU Services in GITEX 2021 to delivering technical support and projects. I had the opportunity to work on different tasks, it was challenging yet a fantastic opportunities to grow and gain new skills and collaborate with the team to effectively enter the new year of 2022 with the new adjustments and mindset

During 2021, I was managing various ICT projects for UAEU community that are dynamically scaled, respond to changing business needs and maximum longevity. The efficiency of Data Center & its services has been enhanced by achieving multiple International standards certifications and the uptime was maintained at 100%.
